The farming minister George Eustice announced in January that any claimants that had not been paid by the end of March would receive a bridging payment in April.
The RPA have now detailed how these bringing payments will be calculated. The payment will be based on 75% of the estimated 2017 claim value. A letter or email will be sent out on Monday 26th March by the RPA to the claimants who will be receiving bridging payments.
The payments will be made on the 4th April and should arrive in bank accounts from the 6th April. Full payments are still being made by the RPA, therefore some businesses might be paid between now and the 4th April.
